  1. The dragon is going the wrong way!

    Have you considered cropping images, or do you prefer to post them in their raw, unedited glory?

    • the dragon was winding through the street, so this was most natural

      i haven’t cropped anything yet, and this one i felt would be somewhat stranger if cropped unless just the head were visible, which might cheat us out of the excitement of the drums and things

  2. I think that cropping some of the right side of the image off (say, to the edge of the yellow awning) wouldn’t be strange at all. You have strong yellow lines that go off the left side of the photo, and cropping to the edge of the yellow awning would make it more balanced — and it would also make the head of the dragon more emphasized by putting it closer to a corner.

    The edge of an image is a powerful thing. Or so they say in art class.
