FAIL!
i left my camera behind
and 5 hours later, i wondered where my camera was, and thought i might be having a very bad day …
..what with having lost my camera … perhaps in a parking lot, perhaps on the road…
then i remembered that i’d forgotten it
and realized i’d forgotten it in a place where it could be retrieved without worry,
and recataloged “lost” as “left behind”
and bumped “fear” to “self-denegration”
i will not be posting a photo today

The veal turnover (bottom) was my favorite. You can't see it because I used too small a focal depth. And because it's secret...
I told Al one was expected to eat the can the caviar came in. He thought I was joking.
The heirloom tomato cloud was basically ALCHEMY in a SPOON.
Ohhhhh with tiny, shrunken olives for a splash of bitter with the sweet!

The lamb was as good as the internet said it would be.
The strawberries and champagne SUCKED. Too acidic.
They let us eat cake.
Then we got a bottle of cognac and continued talking of life, the universe, and everything.
